TCP Group’s Perspectives on APEC Thailand 2022 and the APEC CEO Summit 2022

18 November 2022

Mr. Saravoot Yoovidhya, Chief Executive Officer of TCP Group, shared his perspectives on the APEC CEO Summit 2022. As a Thai company and official sponsor, TCP Group is ready to energize collaborations at the meetings for economic and social sustainability.

“The first day of the APEC CEO Summit 2022 saw participating leaders of member economies, heads of global organizations as well as Thai corporate leaders express a range of important views, which touched on common themes, including sustainable and inclusive growth. Collaborations involving member economies, governments, and the private sector are needed to achieve these goals.

I am confident that the gathering of world leaders together for this summit will be warmly received and supported by all Thais, providing a positive impression of Thailand globally, while showcasing the country’s capabilities in driving sustainable tourism and helping promote business and foreign investments as we move beyond the pandemic. This effort, together with support for the government’s Bio-Circular-Green (BCG) model will further strengthen Thailand’s economic fundamentals and the recovery.

To better develop sustainable growth, all parties must collaborate in order to leverage and create positive impacts to the Regional Economic Partnership Agreement (RCEP), the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTPP), and the Digital Partnership Relationship Agreement (DEPA), connecting them to achieve greater cooperation covering the Asia-Pacific region in the future.”
