Durbell energizes the disabled by giving them equal opportunities, in line with TCP Sustainability Framework

Durbell Co., Ltd., a TCP Group company and one of Thailand’s leading distributors of consumer goods with more than 19 years of experience, joined forces with the group in “Energizing a Better World for All.” The company is providing equal opportunities to people with disabilities, in line with TCP Sustainability Framework, through a major Quality pillar that is focused on quality of life for employees.

Durbell Co., Ltd. received a certificate of appreciation from the Social Innovation Foundation and employment network partners as an organization that supports the employment of people with disabilities. The company has been providing this support since 2017, empowering the disabled to find employment, earn a living, and become self-reliant with dignity equal to other people in society.  This practice is in line with TCP Sustainability Framework which incorporates the human rights of employees, promotes a good quality of life, physical and emotional safety, employee engagement with the organization, as well as personal development such as skills, knowledge and career advancement. The certificate of honor was presented by Mr. Wannarat Srisuksai, Deputy Permanent Secretary of Labor.

Durbell Co., Ltd. has been employing persons with disabilities since 2017, with more than 20 disabled staff currently working for the company, performing a range of tasks such as administrative work and document preparation of community service agencies in their hometowns. This has been an important effort to encourage and empower the disabled to find work and live in their local areas.
