TCP Group rolls out support in various fronts to help Thai people overcome COVID-19 crisis together

14 June 2021

TCP Group continues to give back to Thai society throughout the crisis by uplifting healthcare professionals, SMEs and Thai people who receive COVID-19 vaccinations with its ‘TCP Refreshing Booster’ program to serve chilled beverages with essential vitamins and minerals from the group. These beverages are being served free of charge with reduced contact as part of the company's commitment to weather through COVID-19 with Thai people.

Mrs. Prapaipak Weigl, Global Marketing Division Director (F&B), TCP Group, said: “TCP Group recognizes the need to give support to Thai people’s efforts to get vaccinated as it is the main factor that will allow the country to overcome the COVID-19 crisis – through the achievement of herd immunity to reduce the risks of infection or death. That’s why we have initiated the ‘TCP Refreshing Booster’ program to refresh the public and related personnel by providing beverages from TCP Group that contain vitamins and nutrients to enhance immunity at vaccination centers.”

A total of more than 350,000 drinks from TCP Group will be distributed throughout the program. More than 2,000 chilled beverages are being served for free daily with functional beverages from brands ‘Hi!’, which contains vitamin C, ‘Mansome Vitamin Water’, rich in vitamin B12 and zinc, and electrolyte drinks from ‘Sponsor Go’ in the new size PET bottles, with a mixture of minerals and nutrients that effectively hydrate. The giveaway mechanic is designed for maximum hygiene by allowing vaccinated people to grab their own drinks directly from the refrigerator to minimize contacts. At the same time, TCP Group employees and staff participating in the event are also strictly following measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

TCP Group is committed to support society in all fronts. At the beginning of the year, it sent aid to medical units under the program ‘TCP: The Power of Equipment Against COVID’ by donating 15 ventilators and more than 30,000 medical devices to the Thai Red Cross Society in addition to more than 1,500 boxes of non-perishable and beverages to ten field hospitals in the provinces. These were places with the highest number of COVID-19 patients – based on a report from the Center for COVID-19 Situation Administration 2019 (CCSA). TCP group also donated five real-time human respiration carbon dioxide measurement devices to Thammasat University Hospital to help with diagnosing COVID-10 related symptoms. In April, TCP Group also sent support to the medical community and entrepreneurs through ‘TCP Morale Boost in Every Bite’ program as a mean to express care and appreciation to medical professionals and staff in the field hospitals—the frontline workers faced with incredible risks and workloads—by pampering them with beverages from TCP Group and delicious food from restaurants facing economic woes.

TCP Group continues to stand by Thai people throughout the COVID-19 crisis with various support programs since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic in Thailand, a true testament of its efforts to give back to society.
