TCP Group, led by Ms. Arjaree Suwangool, Corporate Affairs & Communications Department Director, has collaborated with the Department of Climate Change and Environment (DCCE), led by Mr. Phirun Saiyasitpanich, its Director General, to organize a charity walk-run mini-marathon called Recycle for Life, "We Can Run: Fund for Legs," in support of the Prostheses Foundation of H.R.H. the Princess Mother. The event took place on March 31, 2024, at Sanam Luang, Phra Nakhon District, Bangkok. The goal of the event is to raise funds for the production of 100 prosthetic legs, worth more than 2,500,000 baht. Participants had the option of running two distances: a Mini Marathon of 10 kilometers and a Micro Marathon of five kilometers. Prizes for the "Mini Marathon" competition included the Overall Winner trophies for both male and female participants, totaling two awards, along with a cash prize of 5,000 baht per winner. Additionally, the top 50 male and female finishers in both distances received a "Top 50 Prize," and the top five male and female participants, irrespective of distance, were awarded a "Fancy Prize."

TCP Group is committed to promoting the collection of used aluminum cans for recycling, enabling the production of new aluminum can beverage packaging. This approach emphasizes the integrated recycling of aluminum cans, not simply focusing on the rings or lids, and promotes a more comprehensive waste recycling process. Currently, TCP Group offers a range of products in aluminum cans, such as Red Bull Energy Soda, Sponsor Sleek Can Original, FarmZaa, Planett, and Hopster.

The Recycle for Life, "We Can Run: Fund for Legs" walk-run charity mini-marathon is a collaborative effort involving various network partners, including the Prostheses Foundation of H.R.H. the Princess Mother, the Department of Climate Change and Environment, the Pollution Control Department, Thai Beverage Public Company Limited, TCP Group, ThaiNamthip Corporation Limited, HaadThip Public Company Limited, Thai Beverage Can Limited, Thai Beverage Recycle Company Limited, as well as other partners like the Resources Management for Sustainability (3R) Foundation, Thai Beverage Industry Association (TBA), and Channel 7HD, among others.

This event is certified as Carbon Neutral and aims to raise funds to produce 100 prosthetic legs valued at over 2,500,000 baht, which will be provided to financially disadvantaged individuals with disabilities to regain a good quality of life. Additionally, the event aims to collect 4,800,000 used aluminum cans for recycling. Runners can exchange five empty aluminum cans for a shirt and running bib, contributing to a reduction of 570 tons of carbon dioxide equivalent emissions, mitigating the need for mining new minerals for can production. Apart from promoting physical exercise for personal health benefits, this initiative also supports improving the quality of life for others in need.

Interested individuals can support the Recycle for Life, "We Can Run: Fund for Legs" walk-run charity mini-marathon by donating to the Prostheses Foundation, supporting a better quality of life for disabled and underprivileged individuals. Additionally, contributions help to build a more recycling-oriented society, aligning with Thailand's goals of reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
