TCP Group’s Sustainable Water Management

TCP Group’s Sustainable Water Management

TCP Group operates under the purpose “Energizing a Better World for All,” striving for sustainable business growth by minimizing environmental impacts and creating positive impacts on communities and society. As a leader in the beverage industry, sustainable water management is one of the Group’s core strategies. The Company aims to achieve sustainable water management in compliance with the international standard of the Alliance for Water Stewardship (AWS) and is committed to achieving the goal of “returning more water to communities than is used in production” or becoming “Net Water Positive” by 2030.

The Company recognizes that sustainable water resource management requires both efficient internal water management and the promotion of effective external water usage. Achieving this requires collaboration from multiple stakeholders, particularly through understanding the shared water challenge, risks, and opportunities of all stakeholders within the same catchment area. This approach aligns with the Alliance for Water Stewardship (AWS) standard, which emphasizes actions based on understanding the issues and challenges faced by all parties to deliver comprehensive benefits across governance, water balance and quality maintenance, important water-related areas, and WASH (Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene). The Company adopts AWS standards in its collaborative efforts with communities, government agencies, and private sectors within the same watershed. Moreover, WWF Thailand is a key partner, providing support in planning, monitoring, and implementing effective measures to ensure the long-term sustainability of water resources and communities.
