TCP Group invited to Attend the 74th Anniversary National Day Reception Hosted by the Chinese Embassy in Thailand

On the evening of September 20th, the Chinese Ambassador to Thailand, Han Zhiqiang, held a solemn reception in Bangkok to celebrate the 74th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China. More than a thousand guests attended the event, including representatives from Thai government, military, business and overseas Chinese, foreign diplomatic envoys in Thailand, Chinese-funded institutions and overseas students. As one of the representatives of Chinese entrepreneurs investing in Thailand, Saravoot Yoovidhya, CEO of TCP Group, was invited to attend the event.

As a representative of Thai–invested businesses in China, TCP Group has its origins in Thailand and is deeply rooted in China. Since its founder, Mr. Chaleo Yoovidhya, established the first Red Bull factory in China in 1993 as a way to give back to his homeland, this year marks the 30th anniversary of the Red Bull brand's entry into the Chinese market. TCP Group has consistently increased investment in China and expanded the Red Bull business in recent years. As the inventor and owner of the global Red Bull brand and the "Red Bull" trademark, TCP Group kicked off the Red Bull Beverage (Sichuan) Production Base in March last year, with a total investment of 2 billion yuan; and then in July of this year, TCP Group commenced another Red Bull production base in Guangxi ASEAN Economic Development Zone with a total investment of 1.3 billion yuan. These actions demonstrate TCP’s further implementation of the investment plans in China.
